Transition metal nitrosyls including halonitrosyls and their derivatives, Chemistry of nitroso ferrous sulphate, sodium nitroprusside, Applications of carbonyls and nitrosyls in industry and synthetic chemistry.

While there is no mandatory text for this course, the students may consult general inorganic chemistry and coordination chemistry books for chapters on pi-acceptor ligands and transition metal nitrosyl complexes.
