Iodimetry

Determination of the amount of iodine dissolved in water using sodium thiosulfate.

Iodometry

Use of potassium iodate for the determination of:

✓ Potassium iodide

✓ Copper ions

✓ Hydrogen peroxide

✓ Commercial hypochlorite

⚠ Lab Safety Reminder

Always wear appropriate PPE (lab coat, gloves, safety goggles) during all practical sessions. Handle iodine solutions and oxidising agents with care.
